Journal Update (2017.04.30)

   Things have been kind of moving at an uneven pace since the last update.  My day job workload has jumped, so that leaves me less time for the daily sketches, but I've been able to kick a bit of dust off my drawing table to resume doing some things which got delayed over the winter.  Some point before the end of the week, you'll see a new deviation on the gallery feed.

   As for other projects, I think I'll focus on getting a few things together whenever the free time presents itself.  That may be sporadic, depending on what I'm doing during the weeknights and over the weekend, but I've stopped making a habit of making certain deadlines for myself.  I'm not doing this as a professional career, after all.  With warmer weather moving in, I'm looking to do more outdoor activities (that's a necessity to help burn off the fat) and will be doing a few different things.

   One thing that I will be doing differently is trying my hand at writing scripts for a prose story that I might show around someday.  It involves some of the original characters from my webcomic project that I've kind of shelved for the time being, as I'm thinking of writing up their story in prose novel format.  It'll be done, one chapter at a time, as time allows, so the progress could be slow at first.  But you never know...
